If both T and SA Govts cannot meet people’s high expectations, it is easy to create conflict between both regions and make people focus on conflict. The crop loan waiver is a risky promise, particularly in the wake of bifurcation of the state and especially at a time when Andhra Pradesh has a deficit revenue of nearly Rs 15,000 crore.Įxperts say the crop loan waiver in AP alone might require up to Rs 70,000 crore and with the state budget expected to be deficit, Naidu might seek funding from the Centre to implement the scheme.
GUNTUR: After voting for Chandrababu Naidu in large numbers, farmers in Andhra Pradesh are eagerly waiting for the new chief minister to keep his promise of a crop loan waiver, a major poll sop promised during the TDP’s campaign across the region.
The two promises which propelled the party to power after a decade-long gap are set to impose huge costs on the exchequer of the new State as and when they are implemented.įarmers look forward to crop loan waiver by new Chandrababu Naidu government-Times Of India 47,000 croreĮven as euphoria over the party’s emphatic victory in the just concluded general elections in Seemandhra refuses to settle down, the Telugu Desam Party is faced with the Herculean task of fulfilling its promise of loan waiver to farmers and self-help group women. On a whole, Kalyan Ram’s Patas has enough content to click with masses and general audiences.According to conservative estimates, it could burden the exchequer by close to Rs. On the flip side, it’s a normal story which we don’t expect from Kalyan Ram’s movies.
Plus points of the film are Kalyan Ram and mass entertainment. Second half is engaging with entertainment. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram who has been trying to get the film right in past few years seems to have got it right with Patas.Īnalysis: First half of the film is alright. Cinematography by Sarvesh Murari is good. Other departments: Background music by Sai Kartheek is nice. Anil should work more on script and should have depth in story if he had to succeed in a big way. The climax should have been more interesting. And the mother rapid force is also hilarious. The ‘parthaya 801’ episodes have worked well. Though the conflict between son and father is not convincing enough, he made sure that the game plan between hero and villain in second half goes in an entertaining way. However, debutant director Anil Ravipudi has displayed his ability at doing mass scenes and entertainment oriented episodes correctly. Story - screenplay - direction: Story of the film is normal. Srinivas Reddy character provides entertainment with modulation of various actors. Posani Krishna Murali get another entertaining role. He is highly entertaining (including in the title-rolling scenes). MS Narayana plays the role of an aged NRI Telugu hero Tsunami Star Subhash. Asutosh Rana is alright as a bad politician. Sai Kumar gets a meaty role and plays it perfectly. There is nothing much to do for new actress Shruti Sodhi in this film and she is just okay. His serious (heroism oriented) dialogues are good. The rest of the story is all about reasons behind Kalyan becoming a corrupt cop and how he ended the menace of GK.Īctors: Kalyan Ram has carried off cop role convincingly. Then there is a death of a techie girl in Hitech city which changes the attitude of Kalyan. GK (Ashutosh Rana) is a MP and a mafia man. He is a corrupt officer who becomes a headache to entire police department. Kalyan (Kalyan Ram) is the new IPS officer in Hyderabad city.
